Directions
Put powder into empty glass and mix with 240 ml water or other cool liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Do not interrupt medication. Helps to temporarily suppress appetite when taken prior to a meal: for adults only: 2 rounded teaspoons (11.6 g) or 6 level teaspoons (11.6 g) in 240 ml of liquid with meals. Take up to 3 times daily. For occasional use only.For cholesterol lowering and heart health: for adults only: one rounded teaspoon (5.8 g) or three level teaspoons (5.8 g) in 240 ml liquid 3 times daily. For best results in lowering cholesterol, take metamucil with a meal.For fibre supplementation or relief of irregularity: start by taking 1 serving each day. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, gradually increase to 3 servings per day. Generally takes effect in 12-72 hours.
