Description
The Horned Keeper of the Veil brings together the force of the ram with the stillness of the unseen. Twin horns rise as symbols long tied to guardianship, authority, and the raw intelligence of the natural world. Between them stands a black obsidian tower, forming the central axis, which is grounding, reflective, and anchoring to the entire structure. Set before it, a silver pentacle marks balance, intention, and the deliberate nature of what this piece holds.
Beside the obsidian tower, two moonstone towers now stand as quiet sentinels. Where the obsidian anchors and protects, the moonstone opens and receives. Historically tied to cycles, inner awareness, and the subtle rhythms beneath conscious thought. Positioned at the back, they create a layered depth to the piece, as if the visible structure is supported by something softer, older, and less immediately seen.
Flanking the horns are labradorite free forms and carnelian towers, creating a deliberate contrast between intuition and action. Labradorite has long been associated with hidden sight and perception beyond the obvious, while carnelian carries vitality, movement, and embodied force. Together, they establish a balance between awareness and momentum, and between knowing and doing.
At the base, moonstone, labradorite, and carnelian chips are set into the foundation, forming a field beneath the structure rather than a simple platform. This layered base reinforces the dual current running through the piece, grounded yet perceptive, and steady yet responsive.
The inclusion of the Emperor and the Moon Tarot cards at the front reflects a long-standing symbolic pairing: structure and mystery, authority and intuition, the outer world and the inner one. That duality is structural, and it is carried through every material used, and every placement within the piece.
Encased in resin, every element is fixed in place, not as decoration, but as a deliberate arrangement, because in the pieces I make, nothing is accidental in its use.
This is a piece for those who understand that not everything is meant to be open. Some spaces are meant to be held. Some thresholds are meant to be guarded.
The Horned Keeper of the Veil exists at that edge.
It also comes with the pentacle cast iron dish and two black pentacle ceramic chime holders.
What this piece may be used for:
The Horned Keeper of the Veil is built for work that requires both strength and discernment. It is not a passive display piece, it is designed to hold boundaries while also refining what is allowed to cross them.
Traditionally, horns have been associated with guarding, announcing presence, and marking territory. Paired with grounding stones and reflective materials, this construction aligns with practices centered around protection, threshold work, and maintaining clarity within a space. With the addition of moonstone towers set behind the central axis, the piece carries an added layer of receptivity and inner awareness, supporting not only defense, but understanding.
This piece may be used to:
- Anchor and reinforce protective boundaries in a home or ritual space
- Mark and hold a threshold, physical, spiritual, or personal
- Support discernment and decision-making, especially during periods of transition
- Balance action with intuition, creating a steady and responsive field
- Hold space for reflection, dreamwork, or deeper inner awareness
Because of its layered construction, it does not simply block, it clarifies. It does not simply project, it observes and interprets. It supports not just keeping things out, but recognizing what is meant to remain.
Placement matters. Many would traditionally position a piece like this:
- Near an entryway or threshold
- On an altar used for both protection and intuitive work
- In a space where clarity, containment, or decision-making is needed
This is not a piece meant to amplify everything. It is meant to define, filter, and hold with awareness.
Two videos and picture to show all sides, piece is 20″W x 14″D x 9″H
🔮 Each piece I make is handcrafted with intention & consecrated with a ritual, no two I make are ever alike, ensuring a unique connection to the magic it holds.
