In my healing practice, I use Diopside primarily as an overall psychological and emotional healer. For people who have unspoken or unexpressed grief, Diopside can allow its gentle and healthy expression. It is a very difficult stone to obtain in tumbled form, so whenever I do find it, I tend to stockpile and give it to my clients who might be facing recovery from traumatic illness or surgery. It is a powerful support stone for those who are distressed so which may make it difficult to enjoy life. It is also wonderful for the heart chakra to increase one’s capacity for compassion and inclination toward service to others. Diopside is also very inspiring for creative energies.
