Ametrine is a quartz gemstone variety that contains both amethyst (purple) and citrine (orange) colors inside. The colors are due to different oxidation states of iron in the crystal. It helps relieves stress, soothes emotions and brings balance. It has a yin-yang energy of polarities because it contains both Amethyst and Citrine, and thus has both energies of those stones.

Tumbled stones are smaller pieces of crystals or rocks that have been processed in a rock tumbler with water, sand, and grit. Over weeks in a tumbler, the stone edges and surfaces become smooth and sometimes highly polished to bring out the beauty of the stone. The pleasing shape and size of tumbled stones make them desirable as more inexpensive and usable crystals.
